Bee Keeper Application

We’re looking for a kind, calm and motivated nature lover to help care for our bees. Someone who pays attention to detail, takes initiative, communicates openly and takes their commitments seriously, while treating the bees, equipment and surroundings with respect.

We’ll take the time to help you settle in and feel comfortable. In time, we’d also love you to help run beekeeping experience workshops, so enjoying meeting people and sharing your enthusiasm for nature is an important part of the role. Training will be provided for this too.

Our apiary is in Emersons Green. You’ll need to be able to get there reliably, a driving licence is preferred.

The role runs from April to September, for around 1–2 hours bee keeping a week. This is a paid position once training has been completed.
